Twelve weeks into the pregnancy, a prenatal test comes back with unexpected results that pose a moral dilemma. As they all consider the best course of action, the relationship between the three friends is put to the test....

复杂，沉重而又敏感的议题为何要孩子？何为正常？值得深思 why or why not每个人都各执己见 true or false又该以什么标准评价答案恰如结尾… 对此我也了解不深，还处在接受不同观点的阶段。正如qaf推文所言“每个人都有繁衍和抚养后代的权利，而代孕是一个私人的决定。它涉及到国情、法律、伦理和自己的特殊情况，不是一道简单打勾或打叉的对错题。”

抛出了一个复杂问题，但女主纯粹的理想主义地道德绑架。这类小成本电影选的角度不错，但叙事平铺直叙，人物标签化，难以丰满。

不要唐氏综合征的小孩对于普通人而言并不是一个“困难”的选择，但普通人也不会给好朋友代孕，女主从一开始就不普通，她所能共情到的人群太广，以至于在普通人身边寸步难行。（ps黑人男友是不是太好了，他跟女主说我们一起来养孩子我都惊了2333）

相信大多数人都无法认可Jess保留胎儿的决定，Jess的很多行为也都幼稚可笑、书呆子气，书柜上的trans lives matter简直笑出声。但看完了想想，社会是需要更多Jess的，这部电影的意义也许正在于此
