returns four years later when the war is over| he is crippled. He conceals his condition and makes plans to leave for America.

最俗套的剧情，最有效的情感传达。父辈爱恨带来的子辈情感纠葛，战争的残酷给爱情带来考验。最后一幕两辈人擦肩而过已经是太美好的HE了。


Leslie Howard扮演老年人，戏份不多。


歌唱占比太高了，这是剧情片又不是歌舞片，从头到尾Norma Shearer配唱了多少首呀！
